The CS-3 CenterScribe is equipped with a built-in Mortise/Tenon attachment, which provides the advantage of creating perfectly centered layouts of mortises and tenons for stock of various dimensions without the need for complex calculations.

The device features a lock knob that is primarily used when the CenterScribe is employed with one outrigger engaged, operating as a marking gauge. The robust metal thread on the lock knob operates against a skid plate to prevent damage to the arms.

Crafted from anodized Aircraft Grade aluminum alloy parts and a one-of-a-kind stainless steel braided cable/pulley system, the CS-3 CenterScribe provides accurate central findings of stock, cylinders, squares, and centered layouts for mortise and tenons.

The CS-3 CenterScribe offers the capacity to scribe a centerline on stock up to 7-7/8" (200mm) wide. This feature benefits woodworkers by providing quick location of the centerline of tapered stock.
